ArteActa is a peer-reviewed journal founded in 2018, and published bi-annually every Spring and Fall. The publisher of the journal is the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. ArteActa journal is focused on the performing arts and artistic research and its mission comprises three basic content pillars: contemporary performing art of the 20th and 21st centuries with an emphasis on audio-visuals, theatre, music, dance, and their interdisciplinary intersections; artistic research in performing arts encompassing the wide spectrum of the definition of the notion; essays, translations, and reviews of significant texts, as well as other research-related outputs. Czech is the main language of the journal.

The journal also publishes contributions in Slovak and English. ArteActa journal exclusively provides the public with articles and texts which meet the usual requirements set upon academic texts in the areas of science and research, at both the formal and content level, and whose content corresponds with the focus of the periodical.

Echoes is a website about music, created by fans and designed for them. If you are interested in our genre focus, we immediately admit that we do not know and even though most of the articles will be directed to the rock / metal world, life will certainly lead us astray ... and we will be happy to explore them. There are those among us who flirt with jazz, electronics, noise, ambient and other, mostly minority genres, so we definitely do not intend to promise only metal and fight for it in the chest. We ourselves wonder where life will take us.

We don’t take any props and we fire a thunderstorm of anarchy into the official chart of shallow dance pop music. We are midnight harlequins, made up mannequins, artsy losers and winners all at once, we are an atomic bomb in minds of those who live only for money. We are a message of honesty, a voice of Dionysiac poets of love and uncrowned kings of varieté cracks as well as prima ballerinas among lost generation of alchemysts of wasted chances. We are a blistering critique in the system, an error in machines that ought to program us, we are Route 66 of freedom of speech, missionaries of political incorrectness with our view spitted in the face of haters. Me and you, we both together against the world. We stand proud and we‘re raising our fists with FAKKER! against everyone who’d try to f*ck with us.
