We are the Association of Promoters and Producers in the field of culture - APPOK.
Our goal is to fully represent the interests of all entities cooperating in the field of culture, entertainment and leisure activities, whose needs have long been overlooked.

We do not want to be pushed to the margins with our demands just because we are not part of state museums, galleries, philharmonic orchestras and large state-funded theaters. Thousands of our events a year ensure the quality of cultural life of the entire nation.

We work in cities and towns, bringing joy and education, knowledge and entertainment for all generations from children, through teenagers, adults to seniors. We organize concerts of domestic and foreign stars, world exhibitions, musical and theatrical performances, family and music festivals, we entertain and educate the next generation.

We are big and small promoters and producers as well as technicians, lighting and video operators, sound engineers, boxers, producers, but also teachers of children's clubs, guides at exhibitions and also lyricists and creatives who prepare exhibitions and fun shows.

FESTAS

FESTAS

Prague Prague

Music associations

FESTAS is an association of festivals organized in the Czech Republic. Its members include, for example, Colours of Ostrava, Rock for People or Metronome Festival.
The idea of an association of music festivals has been a much-discussed topic in recent years, but without the necessary result. The main reason for its establishment has now become a number of newly adopted legislation, which significantly affects festivals, but often without taking into account their specifics in comparison with other types of business. The ambition of the association is to enter into the legislative process for those laws that affect festivals and to provide feedback to state administration bodies so that legislation that disproportionately burdens festivals is not adopted.

In addition to communication with the state administration, the association wants to actively participate in the development of the domestic festival scene. Its aim is to create a platform for regular meetings and discussions of professionals, which has been lacking in our country so far. In the future, the association will also focus on environmental initiatives, joint solutions for member festivals and other joint projects.

The association is open to all organizers of music festivals who meet the basic conditions of membership and which existing members accept by voting for members. The most important conditions of membership include at least a three-year history of holding a member festival.
