Who is the MMF Czech Republic?
MMF Czech Republic is an association of music managers and booking agents of the Czech Republic, which is directly connected to the board of directors of the international organization IMMF. The IMF Czech Republic takes as its goals the parent IMMF and further expands them with issues that concern the representatives of bands at home in the conditions of the local market and know-how.
The MMF Czech Republic was officially established in May 2018 thanks to direct contacts with IMMF representatives, built with the help of the SoundCzech export office and the participation of the IMF Czech Republic Board of Music conferences in the EU, such as Spring Break (Poland), Eurosonic (Netherlands), Vienna Waves (Austria). ), Reeperbahn (Germany), Musikmesse (Germany), MaMA (France), Nouvelle Prague (Czech Republic) and many more.
The MMF Czech Republic organizes twice a year meetings of the entire membership base, where it is possible to exchange views, contacts and raise requests to address issues with the IMMF, which are the most current for the majority of members.

    Unie, a trade union of professional singers of the Czech Republic, is a professional trade union organization uniting, on a voluntary basis and on the basis of common professional interests, employees of cultural arts organizations and institutions and performers, both through basic organizations and in the form of individual membership. It is completely independent of all political parties, movements, civic associations, government and other state and economic bodies. In its activities, the association is based on the rights provided by the Constitution of the Czech Republic, the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, conventions of the International Labor Organization, the Labor Code and other legal regulations valid and effective in the Czech Republic.

    It strives for a dignified social status of performers and employees of cultural arts organizations and institutions.

    It promotes and defends the professional, labor, economic and social interests of its members vis-à-vis employers and other organizations and state bodies. It develops activities with the aim of ensuring opportunities for maximum employment of its members in the Czech Republic.

    It takes care of the correct and uniform interpretation of generally binding legal regulations, including their fair application. It participates in the elaboration of opinions on submitted draft laws and other legal regulations and promotes their amendment in the event that the proposed regulation in its essence and consequences restricts or prevents the exercise of legitimate interests of members.

    Provides legal protection in the form of legal consultations and representation before courts, or. before other bodies to the members of the UNION in matters and disputes arising out of employment relationships, in matters and disputes arising out of copyright relations and in matters relating to artistic activity. It oversees the area of ​​occupational safety, provides legal assistance in collective bargaining and provides information and training services.

    As a trade union and professional organization, we associate professional musicians and other employees of chamber, symphony, theater orchestras and singing ensembles operating in the Czech Republic. UNIE OH ČR has also become one of the founding organizations of INTERGRAM, which is a collective administrator of the property rights of performers under copyright law. The Union of the Olympic Games of the Czech Republic was also involved in the establishment of the Life of an Artist Foundation. In 1999, the UNIE OH ČR also became one of the founding organizations of the professional Association of Performing Artists, which represents trade unions and artistic organizations from most artistic professions. The Union of the Olympic Games of the Czech Republic is a member of the Czech-Moravian Confederation of Trade Unions (CMKOS).
