Jana Kománková (* April 17, 1974) is a Czech journalist and radio presenter.
She worked for Rock & Pop magazine as an editor and later deputy editor-in-chief (1992–2001). Since 1993, she has been a presenter at the Prague independent station Radio 1, where she broadcasts twice a week. He interviews personalities and selects music for programs that he moderates. Since 2010 he has been running the protisedi.cz website.
Jaroslav Konáš is a Czech music publicist and writer. He writes for the music magazine Headliner, which he co-founded. He wrote the blog Hudební masakry about very bad and ridiculous music recordings, then he also shot a show for Stream.cz on this topic.
In May 2009, together with Jana Apačka, he founded the Grygar agency KYEO shows, which, in addition to its promotional activities, began publishing the magazine Full Moon in 2010. Currently within the publishing house SMILE Music s.r.o. publishes magazines Full Moon, Spark and co-owns the most visited Czech music website musicserver.cz.
Since 2018, he has been running the Cabinet of Muses in Brno, which is one of the most famous Czech music clubs. Thanks to the award-winning vegan restaurant Die Küche and the newly established music label Kabinet Records, his activities within the music scene are widely spread and thus become an important community center in Brno.
Martin Kozumplík is a founding member of BACH - Brno Club Music Association, which actively participates in current debates on the help of the state and regions of the music scene, affected by anti-coronary measures and associates almost all Brno music clubs.
He graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University, where he completed a bachelor's thesis on the specifics of Radio Wave broadcasting. He then continued his studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences within the master's field of Media Studies. At the same time, he went to Czech Radio, where he completed the Eleva program. During his master's degree, he received a full-time offer from Radio 1 as a music coordinator. He did not hesitate to interrupt his studies and worked in Radio 1 in this position from 2013 to 2018. Since 2018 he has been the program director of the station. Together with Vojtěch Tkáč, he runs the musically obsessive Reflektor magazine here.
As a musician, she released her debut album First I Thought Everyone’s Staring at Me under the name Margo. She is studying at the Department of New Media Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University Since 2018, she has been writing regularly for Full Moon magazine, where at the beginning of the year she began working as part of a closer operations team.
Music journalist and art historian. She regularly contributes to Full Moon, Harmonie and UNI cultural magazine as well as the music portals FullMoonZine.cz and Afro.cz. She closely cooperates with the music agency Jazz Meets World, booking agency Earth Music and Czech music/theatre festivals Na jednom břehu and Colour Meeting. She is also part of the team of Czech Music Crossroads and export music office SoundCzech.
He studied Czech language and Film studies at Palacký University in Olomouc and, in the end, music prevailed. His musical taste is quite broad – from extreme metal subgenres to contemporary electronics and everything in between. Currently, he writes for Full Moon magazine, both printed and web-based version, and for the web Musicserver.cz. His daily job is at Denik, the biggest nationwide newspaper in the Czech Republic.
He became a freelance music publicist focusing on world music, folk and traditional music in the early 1990s. He also contributes to the music magazine Harmonie, regularly collaborates with Czech Radio Vltava, belongs to the dramaturgical team of the Colors of Ostrava festival and participates in the production role of Czech Music Crossroads.
