This is one of the top ten jazz clubs in the Czech Republic. A revolutionary music and theater scene. A cultural monument, the oldest of its kind in Central Europe. And above all, a place where you will have an unforgettable musical experience amongst fantastic musicians, presidents, and other top public figures.
Since its foundation in 1957, the club has been the main home of jazz throughout the Czech Republic. But it did not achieve real world renown until after the Velvet Revolution, under the auspices of Pragokoncert Bohemia, a leading art agency, which made one of the three oldest Central European clubs world-class and introduced the club to an international audience and the art community.

As incredible as it may seem, Club 007 Strahov is one of the longest running music clubs in Prague. And over the past few years, it’s been one of the most active as well, as far as concerts by artists from all over the world are concerned. It’s not unusual for music groups from the USA or western Europe to specifically request that their tour include a stop at the “007”.

After three years at the Občanská plovárna where it hosted prominent local as well as international jazz personalities including as part of the PRAGUE PROMS festival, the mobile jazz club has moved house to the CNSO studios in Hostivař.
The Czech National Symphony Orchestra Hostivař studios were set up in 2002 when the common space of the waterworks took on a new life as the Studio Gallery. The bottom part of the building has waited patiently until this year for a cinema space which has managed to tastefully preserve its 1980s décor.
During the spring of this year, the space transformed into a stylish jazz club boasting outstanding acoustics and oozing atmosphere. The direct linking up to production will make it possible to record concerts live, while a wide array of drinks will be available at its stylish bar decorated in end of the 20th century optimistic hues. The Loop Jazz Club is being resurrected, on this occasion at the “home” studios of the CNSO.
The grand launch is set for 1st July opening with the Jazz of the 60s concert, commemorating the modern big band era and being held as part of the PRAGUE PROMS international musical festival.

Jazzclub at The Old Lady has been one of the great clubs of prague´s jazz scene. We would like it to be also in the future. We want to provide a space for a wide czech jazz scene, which is traditional, but also a bit experimental.
In our daily program we present many forms of live jazz music.

Valdstejn Loggia – Albrecht of Valdstejn established his prestigious suburban villa, now the Loggia and the adjacent Libosad park, at the foot of Zebin hill. The selected location enabled the garden to be equipped with fountains and water to be drawn to fill large pools. The complex was never finished. However, the Loggia’s terrace is the place where five landscape axes meet, the ends of which point to the sunsets and sunrises on the equinoxes and solstices. The stage of the Duke’s grand courtly feasts should probably also have been the refuge for this great character, whose life was governed by the horoscope and astrology.

The Mirror Chapel, under the leadership of the National Library of the Czech Republic, has again become one of the most important Prague music scenes in recent years.
In addition to regular concerts of classical music, we prepare for our listeners interesting projects of individual concerts or entire music series with great ensembles and soloists. In addition to classical music, we are not afraid to look into modern popular genres.
Those who return to us include the Collegium Marianum, Ensemble 18+, Musica Florea and many others, soloists such as the great pianist Karel Košárek, oboist Vilém Veverka, violinist Jaroslav Svěcený, etc. We appreciate the performance of Mrs. Sona Červená , Czech actresses and opera singers, daughters of the well - known Czech writer and cabaret artist Jiří Červený or foreign guests - theremin player Carolina Eyck, or the breathtaking performance of the stacking male choir Westlands Mannenkoor, etc.
The folk group Nerez also played here, the gospel was brought to us by the singer Leona.
Christmas concerts are beautiful, when music schools with their children's choirs often come to us.
