In the 22 years since its inception, The Lucerna Music Bar has become one of the most important music venues in the Czech Republic. The location has a rich cultural tradition and prides itself on making every concert a very special experience, where the artists seem to be within grasp during their performance on the famous round stage. Hundreds of local and foreign bands have already performed on this stage.Just to mention a few are artists such as: Joss Stone, Earth, Wind & Fire, Maceo Parker, Hurts, The Parov Stelar Band, Stephen and Kymani Marley, Major Lazer, Living Colour, Keisza, The Subways, Two Door Cinema Club, Incognito, Pat Metheny, Robben Ford, Mos Def, Mark Lanegan and José González. An all-time favorite are the 80’s & 90’s video-parties, which have been taking place every Friday and Saturday since 2000.

The history of the Lucerna Music Bar goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, when the Palace Lucerna was build. By 1909 the club was already used as a theatre and later as a cabaret under Karel Hašler. The next important step in the history of the Lucerna Music Bar is the year 1927, when the Cabaret – Restaurant Lucerna opened. Many famous Czech artists performed here (Voskovec and Werich) and popular jazz bands played and filled the dancefloor. After 1948 the whole Lucerna palace, which was property of the Havel family, was nationalized. In the dark days of communism the club was used as a night club without any real focus. 20 years ago, on October 25th, 1995, the new era of the Lucerna Music Bar had begun. We strongly believe that era will continue on for at least the next 20 years.

Malostranská beseda is a concert hall, music and theater club in the very heart of Malá Strana. It is also a gallery that hosts interesting exhibitions, restaurant, a cafe and a beer hall tapping beer at an excellent level. It is a nice place for fun, dinner or beer with friends. But most of all, it is a building with a century-old tradition. In addition to concerts and theater performances, these spaces can also be used for social events such as balls, conferences, banquets and more.

You may listen to local music and stories, watch movies, savour photos and taste traditional cuisine.
Realisation of exhibitions that are thematically following the current programme of all stages in Palac Akropolis. We exhibit new creations and from amateur to fine art students to renowned artists.

We enable young musicians to perform on the one of the most prestige club scenes in Prague and simultaneously be heard by new audiences and establish connections with music producers. Every month we prepare EuroConnections - original European music groups who are able to premiere their works. We are your reliable guide in current music trends.
We Organise support for experimental, nonverbal and physical theatre projects. We provide a scene for art groups with traditions in community theatre, social-criticism performance whichfocuses on current social issues. Starting from 2012, we are introducing contemporary circus.Together with the centre for new circus Cirqeuon we organise the festival Cirkopolis, which connects the new circus with dance and physical theatre. Festival always invites several foreign groups and annually brings the world premiere of Cirkopolis.

This is one of the top ten jazz clubs in the Czech Republic. A revolutionary music and theater scene. A cultural monument, the oldest of its kind in Central Europe. And above all, a place where you will have an unforgettable musical experience amongst fantastic musicians, presidents, and other top public figures.

Since its foundation in 1957, the club has been the main home of jazz throughout the Czech Republic. But it did not achieve real world renown until after the Velvet Revolution, under the auspices of Pragokoncert Bohemia, a leading art agency, which made one of the three oldest Central European clubs world-class and introduced the club to an international audience and the art community.
