Sometimes you can hear the piano, other times the organ. Sometimes people sing here and other times people come here for exhibitions. The Atrium is a unique cultural center in Prague's Žižkov, which is hidden between apartment buildings not far from the Žižkov tower and Olšanské náměstí. The reconstructed Baroque chapel hosts concerts of classical music and jazz, important contemporary artists exhibit in the gallery and coffee is brewed in the bistro with the garden.

The atrium first opened in 1984 and has become a traditional place of Žižkov's cultural life. Recently, community events have been held here and the garden has become a popular place to relax. Since 2016, marriages have also taken place in the chapel.

Atrium Žižkov is managed by the contributory organization Za Trojku, which is being established by the City District of Prague 3. You can also visit our sister center KC Vozovna.

The Besední House is one of the most important buildings in Brno's architecture. It was built in the years 1870–1873 as part of a newly built roundabout. The author of the historic Neo-Renaissance building was the architect Theophil von Hansen.

The pride of the Besední House is the Neo-Renaissance hall (after renovation in its original stylish form), which the Brno Philharmonic offers for short-term rent. The hall for 473 visitors is a popular place for concerts, music festivals, competitions, balls, fashion shows, conferences, corporate meetings and wedding receptions. However, those interested can also rent other representative spaces - a hall, a foyer, a director's lounge or a glazier's office for occasional events such as exhibitions, discussions, choir rehearsals, etc.

The Besední dům building can accommodate a maximum of 550 guests. There are 480 chairs and 85 tables, practice cables, choir levels, music stands, microphones, etc. The stage can be extended in depth.

In the Lázně III complex there is a historically very valuable and architecturally interesting concert hall of Antonín Dvořák. Every week, the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra gives concerts here, dating back to 1835. In the 22 years since its inception, The Lucerna Music Bar has become one of the most important music venues in the Czech Republic. The location has a rich cultural tradition and prides itself on making every concert a very special experience, where the artists seem to be within grasp during their performance on the famous round stage. Hundreds of local and foreign bands have already performed on this stage.Just to mention a few are artists such as: Joss Stone, Earth, Wind & Fire, Maceo Parker, Hurts, The Parov Stelar Band, Stephen and Kymani Marley, Major Lazer, Living Colour, Keisza, The Subways, Two Door Cinema Club, Incognito, Pat Metheny, Robben Ford, Mos Def, Mark Lanegan and José González. An all-time favorite are the 80’s & 90’s video-parties, which have been taking place every Friday and Saturday since 2000.

The history of the Lucerna Music Bar goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, when the Palace Lucerna was build. By 1909 the club was already used as a theatre and later as a cabaret under Karel Hašler. The next important step in the history of the Lucerna Music Bar is the year 1927, when the Cabaret – Restaurant Lucerna opened. Many famous Czech artists performed here (Voskovec and Werich) and popular jazz bands played and filled the dancefloor. After 1948 the whole Lucerna palace, which was property of the Havel family, was nationalized. In the dark days of communism the club was used as a night club without any real focus. 20 years ago, on October 25th, 1995, the new era of the Lucerna Music Bar had begun. We strongly believe that era will continue on for at least the next 20 years.
