The Obscene Extreme festival, shortened as OEF, is an annual music festival in the Czech Republic, that focuses on extreme metal subgenres grindcore and death metal, as well as hardcore punk. It was found in 1999 as a birthday party by Miloslav "Čurby" Urbanec. It was described by Vice as "Europe's craziest grindcore party". It is noted by the Czech Radio for its "exceptionally tolerant and friendly atmosphere". The festival offers exclusively vegetarian and vegan food within its premises since its inception.
Several well-known metal bands have performed at OEF over the years, such as: Napalm Death, Possessed, Obituary, Sodom, Immolation, Grave, Suffocation, Vader, Incantation, Terrorizer, Exhumed, Asphyx, Morgoth, Brujeria, Sinister, Nuclear Assault, Hirax, Vital Remains, Eyehategod, Krisiun, and Municipal Waste to name a few.

Pop Messe is a music festival that follows up on Brno’s trade fair tradition as well as focus on education, new technology and innovation. The line-up is primarily (not only though) young, multi-genre music that goes beyond the established concept of POP. The two day long event will take place between the 24th and 25th of July in Brno’s football stadium and Bobycentrum. Pop Messe’s ambition is to become a unique cultural platform with high artistic potential in a dynamic South Moravian metropolis.

"Holidays in Telc" is a summer 14-day music festival and presentation of music groups supplemented with theater and movie performances. Strong evidence of growing popularity is the fact that the festival enters its 28th year of existence and is attended by approximately 20.000 visitors every year. The festival is organized by the 'Prazdniny v Telci' private agency together with the city Telc and the Telc Castle.
Most of activities take place in the attractive environment of the City Square and the courtyard of the chateau. Associated activities and performances have a scene laid at the Chateau Park or places near by. There are also art exhibitions that regularly take place on the old Jewish cemetery.

Slovácký year - the largest folk event, which is like the Olympics repeated only once every four years

The gates of the royal town Kyjova are opened to the lovers of traditions, folk music, songs, dances, and above all great fun to open in August this year the twentieth time. Center Kyjov Dolňácko again after four years become a mecca folklorists from Bohemia, Moravia and abroad.
Thousands of performers during the four days of the festival will present more than three dozen programs. For three days and nights, Žižkovská Noc will unite the most interesting spots from Prague's quarter Žižkov and other surrounding neighborhoods.

The tenth edition of Žižkovská Noc’s multi-genre festival will offer over fifty venues in clubs, theaters, cafes, pubs and exhibition galleries from March 26th to March 28th of 2020. You can look forward to a unique program that will include hundreds artists from around the world.
