Colours of Ostrava is an international, multi-genre music festival organised annually in Ostrava since 2002. In 2012, the festival was moved to the entrancing surroundings of Dolní Vítkovice – an area that used to belong to metallurgical works, mines and ironworks. We are a free and independent festival for free and independent artists and festivalgoers. We don’t subscribe to any genre and are only open to showcasing sensitive, dynamic as well as uplifting projects with a similar philosophy to our own.

Traditional Czech folklor music and dance festival

Come and enjoy the outstanding atmosphere of the folklore festival with us. Dancers and musicians from all over the world meet the Czech, Moravian and local Silesian folklore groups. In a week filled with diverse music, dance, colorful traditional costumes and pleasant encounters, up to 600 participants of all ages get together in our town of Frydek-Mistek in the Beskydy region and bring joy to its inhabitants and visitors. On the weekend, the rich program is accompanied by hand made products and treats, excellent Moravian wine.

MetalGate Czech Death Fest OpenAir is a twin-day summer metal festival, which takes place in Autocamp Brodský in the city of Červený Kostelec (Czech Republic). Dramaturgy-wise, the festival combines on one hand a cross-selection of metal styles and subgenres, which has been the hallmark of MetalGate OpenAir, and on the other hand a closer focus on death metal and grindcore, which formed the cornerstone of Czech Death Fest.

The Obscene Extreme festival, shortened as OEF, is an annual music festival in the Czech Republic, that focuses on extreme metal subgenres grindcore and death metal, as well as hardcore punk. It was found in 1999 as a birthday party by Miloslav "Čurby" Urbanec. It was described by Vice as "Europe's craziest grindcore party". It is noted by the Czech Radio for its "exceptionally tolerant and friendly atmosphere". The festival offers exclusively vegetarian and vegan food within its premises since its inception.
Several well-known metal bands have performed at OEF over the years, such as: Napalm Death, Possessed, Obituary, Sodom, Immolation, Grave, Suffocation, Vader, Incantation, Terrorizer, Exhumed, Asphyx, Morgoth, Brujeria, Sinister, Nuclear Assault, Hirax, Vital Remains, Eyehategod, Krisiun, and Municipal Waste to name a few.
