Come and enjoy the outstanding atmosphere of the folklore festival with us. Dancers and musicians from all over the world meet the Czech, Moravian and local Silesian folklore groups. In a week filled with diverse music, dance, colorful traditional costumes and pleasant encounters, up to 600 participants of all ages get together in our town of Frydek-Mistek in the Beskydy region and bring joy to its inhabitants and visitors. On the weekend, the rich program is accompanied by hand made products and treats, excellent Moravian wine.

Imagination is the biggest bass music & harder styles festival in Czech Republic. Imagination festival offers a combination of modern electronic music genres and unique audiovisual experience on 2 stages with (many) headliners from all around the world. In previous years Imagination won 1st and 2nd place in Czech Drum & Bass Awards in category “Indoor party of the year” (also beaten famous Let It Roll festival). Masters of Rock is a large heavy metal festival in the Czech Republic.[1] The main styles represented on this festival are power, speed and heavy metal, though the production tries to make the fest more open for other rock and metal styles as progressive rock/metal, hardcore, death metal or even ska. It takes place in Vizovice, Czech Republic and in the past has featured bands such as Tarja Turunen, Manowar, Sweet, Twisted Sister, HammerFall, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Kreator, Edguy, Rage, Apocalyptica, Within Temptation, Children of Bodom, Avantasia, Accept, Dream Theater, Sebastian Bach, Behemoth, Amon Amarth and many more. The 2005 attendance was over 20,000, the 2006 one over 25,000 and finally the 2007 was over 30,000. The festival is held every summer and the Winter morphosis takes place in November in the town of Zlín. Since 2010 the main stage of summer festival is named after Ronnie James Dio, who died earlier that year.

Metronome festival Prague is international music festival, which takes place since 2016 annually on Prague Exhibition centre located in the wider city centre. Festival’s programme presents the most interesting international shows in combination with the very best from local Czech scene and connects various music generations and genres. Besides great music programme and excellent sound festival offers also amphitheatre with intimate atmosphere, high-quality food without queues, wifi and plenty of sitting space.
Since the first edition, which took place in 2016, Metronome festival Prague hosted such great music stars and acts as Sting, Kasabian, Gus Gus, The Chemical Brothers, Crystal Fighters, Faithless DJ set, Iggy Pop, John Cale, Massive Attack, Foals, The Kooks, David Byrne, Ella Eyre, The Pretty Things, Young Fathers, Walk of the Earth, DJ Solomun and many more.
From local Czech music scene, we would like to highlight for example Tata Bojs, David Koller, Monkey Business, JAR, Barbora Poláková, Ivan Král & Jiří Suchý, Richard Müller, Lenny, or Mydy Rabycad.

The International Folklore Festival in Písek was founded by Milan Bečka, MD. Thanks to his enthusiasm and also to the energy of the forty members of our Písečan Group the event became one of the greatest folklore events in the Czech Republic. Every summer Písek becomes a place of this extraordinary cultural experience.

Groups from abroad and from all parts of the Czech Republic perform on stage and also in the streets. Spectators can meet with various cultures, folklore dances, customs and arts. Every year the organizers come up with novelties to improve the festival. The spectators from Písek grew fond of the International Folklore Festival and more than 3,000 come every year to watch.
