Metalfest in Pilsen is has become a highly respected metal tradition. Mezinárodní folklorní festival Strážnice is the oldest folklore festival in the Czech Republic - it first took place in 1946. You can find professional and amateur folklore ensembles. The festival takes place in park, vineyard and outdoor museum.

Pop Messe is a music festival that follows up on Brno’s trade fair tradition as well as focus on education, new technology and innovation. The line-up is primarily (not only though) young, multi-genre music that goes beyond the established concept of POP. The two day long event will take place between the 24th and 25th of July in Brno’s football stadium and Bobycentrum.
