Povaleč was created in 2006 by a joint initiative of a bunch of friends. Until today, the organization team consists of friends, most of whom know each other for years.
Our aim is to entertain people, to revive the lovely town of Valeč, to create an event with a unique atmosphere, where everyone can find something that he enjoys and doesn’t have to pay overpriced entrance fee just to see a couple of well-worn bands. Povaleč is not about mainstream popular culture or money, it is about bringing people together and creating something different.
Rock for People (RfP) is one of the largest open-air summer music festivals in the Czech Republic. The festival began in 1995 in the town Český Brod, and in 2007 it was moved to an unused airport in Hradec Králové. Headlining acts have included Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, the Offspring, the Killers, Paramore, and Massive Attack.
A festival that can combine well-being and romance by the water with great projects that are not at other open air events, great bands, time for the family and a great party!
