Metalfest in Pilsen is has become a highly respected metal tradition. The fans came to favour the festival not only for its great musical dramaturgy of many genres of metal but also for its unique natural environment in which it takes place. The beautiful amphitheatre in Lochotín, where you can see from any place beautifully on the podium, surrounded by a park and meadows, adjacent to the Pilsen ZOO, all just a short walk from the centre of the West Bohemian metropolis of Pilsen. Festival focused on folklore music and dance

The International Folklore Festival in Písek was founded by Milan Bečka, MD. Thanks to his enthusiasm and also to the energy of the forty members of our Písečan Group the event became one of the greatest folklore events in the Czech Republic. Every summer Písek becomes a place of this extraordinary cultural experience.

Groups from abroad and from all parts of the Czech Republic perform on stage and also in the streets. Spectators can meet with various cultures, folklore dances, customs and arts. Every year the organizers come up with novelties to improve the festival. The spectators from Písek grew fond of the International Folklore Festival and more than 3,000 come every year to watch.

Mezinárodní folklorní festival Strážnice is the oldest folklore festival in the Czech Republic - it first took place in 1946. You can find professional and amateur folklore ensembles. The festival takes place in park, vineyard and outdoor museum.

Pop Messe is a music festival that follows up on Brno’s trade fair tradition as well as focus on education, new technology and innovation. The line-up is primarily (not only though) young, multi-genre music that goes beyond the established concept of POP. The two day long event will take place between the 24th and 25th of July in Brno’s football stadium and Bobycentrum. Pop Messe’s ambition is to become a unique cultural platform with high artistic potential in a dynamic South Moravian metropolis.
