Unizone was established as a regular club night in 2017 by Ancestral Vision & notsureyet. Two years later, in 2019, the platform was extended by a radio show (biweekly on Radio1.cz) and transformed into a music label. An amorphous club virus mutated in the grim dungeons of the Prague music scene; a virus whose genome infects the genre cliches with bold subversion and incurable enthusiasm that stems from the incessant cycle of searching and drafting new talents. The go-getting sound which characterizes Unizone could be labelled as “hybrid club.” Its fluid nature reflects, among others, contemporary tendencies in the electronic music that call for the annihilation of the term “genre”.
