The Moravian Autumn Festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Czech Republic. It was established as the Brno International Music Festival in 1966, when the activities of Brno's artistic institutions took on an international dimension again after years of rigid isolation, and the first year of the festival had a very positive response.
In 1987, a multi-day festival of contemporary music called Exposition of New Music was established under the auspices of the MHFB, and since 1995 it has been expanding with the Easter Festival of Sacred Music.
Moravian Autumn invites to Brno orchestras that have passed Europe so far, chamber ensembles belonging to the world's top, soloists decorating world stages. It is not only an interpretive festival that tries to bring the world's top to Brno and confront it with domestic first-class musicians, but also a program one; it's not just "about the stars" (and their competition at all), but also about the content.
We see the great contribution of the Moravian Autumn in the search for new and interesting dramaturgical lines, addressing living authors and the creation of new works. The festival also draws attention to young and talented performers, giving them the opportunity to excel. In 2015, Erkki-Sven Tüür, who, together with Arvo Pärt and Veljo Tormis, is one of the most important contemporary Estonian composers, was revived.
Moravian Autumn is a member of the Czech Association of Festivals (CAF) and is held once every two years (biennial).
The organizer is the Brno Philharmonic, a contributory organization of the statutory city of Brno.

The Obscene Extreme festival, shortened as OEF, is an annual music festival in the Czech Republic, that focuses on extreme metal subgenres grindcore and death metal, as well as hardcore punk. It was found in 1999 as a birthday party by Miloslav "Čurby" Urbanec. It was described by Vice as "Europe's craziest grindcore party". It is noted by the Czech Radio for its "exceptionally tolerant and friendly atmosphere". The festival offers exclusively vegetarian and vegan food within its premises since its inception.
Several well-known metal bands have performed at OEF over the years, such as: Napalm Death, Possessed, Obituary, Sodom, Immolation, Grave, Suffocation, Vader, Incantation, Terrorizer, Exhumed, Asphyx, Morgoth, Brujeria, Sinister, Nuclear Assault, Hirax, Vital Remains, Eyehategod, Krisiun, and Municipal Waste to name a few.

The international interdisciplinary festival SMETANOVSKÉ DNY, which belongs to the calendar of the most important cultural events in Pilsen for more than thirty years, represents tradition and the certainty that there are still lasting values ​​that can be relied on. For music and art lovers in general, it is a real holiday that brings extraordinary experiences every year. In the top performance of important ensembles and leading performers of our and foreign scene, listeners can listen to well-known masterpieces in traditional and new contexts, as well as musical novelties. The interdisciplinarity, which stood at the very beginning of the festival in the form of a scientific symposium devoted to the issues of Czech culture of the 19th century, is maintained. Within the cultural context, the festival is rare in that it connects the world of music with the world of science, philosophy, literature, fine arts, theater and film. An integral part of the festival is also the involvement of Pilsen artists and performers.

The St. Wenceslas Music Festival (SHF) is the largest international festival of sacred and so-called early music in the Czech Republic. Since its inception in 2004, SHF has been held annually not only in Ostrava, but also in many churches throughout the Moravian-Silesian Region during the month of September (the first 10 years took place between two public holidays, September 28 - October 28). Traditionally, more than thirty concerts are celebrated by the feast of St. Wenceslas, representing the symbol of Czech statehood.

The main goal of SHF is the presentation of the so-called informed interpretation of early and sacred music in sacred spaces, in an effort to restore this music to its original meaning. High quality festival dramaturgy of the director of SHF doc. Mgr. Igor Františák, Ph.D. is guided by three main lines: monumental vocal-instrumental concerts, programs focused on the so-called authentic interpretation of early music and chamber and solo projects, which are annually supplemented by non-traditional and crossover projects. SHF systematically supports the talents of the young generation, presents the winners of prestigious competitions, modern premieres and unique projects (crossover projects, ballet, video art or film in the church). He also patriotistly takes care of the genius loci by presenting concerts by Moravian-Silesian natives of European artistic parameters and works by forgotten composers who have lived and created in the region since the Baroque period. The prestigious SHF residential ensembles are Collegium 1704, Collegium Marianum, Czech Philharmonic Choir Brno.

The festival dates back to 1992 and is the first festival of its kind in the Czech Republic. It responds to the constant interest of listeners in concerts of sacred music thematically connected with the liturgically significant period of Easter.
The Easter Festival of Sacred Music remains a unique international project on the Central European scale dedicated exclusively to sacred music with an emphasis on exploratory and interesting dramaturgy and excellent performances.
The key dramaturgical starting point is the very proximity of the most important Christian holidays. Among other things, the festival focuses on the line of discovering unjustly neglected works and actively acts as the initiator of new spiritual compositions.
The festival takes place every year in two weeks between Květná and Bílá Sunday and is situated in Brno's churches.
The Easter Festival of Sacred Music is a member of the Czech Association of Festivals (CAF).

Every year, the Summer Music Festival For the Treasures of the Broumov Region attracts exceptional evening concerts by Czech and foreign artists in the unique atmosphere of Baroque churches. The genius loci of the Broumov region, Benedictine history and architecture set in a beautiful landscape, all combined with classical music create a unique atmosphere of the festival. Concerts are usually held every summer Saturday from 6 pm, always in one of the Broumov churches. Admission to the concerts is voluntary and the proceeds are intended for the care of the churches in which the concerts take place.

The aim of the festival is to popularize classical music in all its forms to the general public, to draw attention to the state of these churches and help those who seek to save them, and also to enable young top performers of classical music to perform in non-traditional churches of the Broumov group.
