MHF Lípa Musica is the most important festival project in the field of classical music in northern Bohemia. During its nineteen-year history, it supplemented the imaginary cultural map of our country with a highly valued and high-quality music holiday and thus became not only a representative of our country's culture in the Czech Republic, but also fulfills its international status as one of the few events in the Czech Republic. It fulfills it not only at the level of presentation of the world's leading performers in the country, but also through the export of the Czech musical elite to Germany. For years, the festival has been predestined for the development of the Czech-German dialogue, which takes place at the artistic level, but also in creating an environment for deepening friendly relations between neighboring regions at the organizing and visitor level. In recent years, the Lípa Musica Festival has been sponsoring its program with the personality of an artistic guarantor (Radek Baborák in 2017 and 2018, Josef Špaček in 2019 and 2020). This institute of the festival opens the door to the possibility of presenting excellent performers from abroad, not only of German provenance, who often, despite their exceptional qualities, appear on Czech stages for the first time and are thus a new inspiration for the Czech cultural community. Lípa Musica pays attention not only to the high level of interpretive quality, but also to the content of the dramaturgy itself and the careful selection of the presented works and their discovery and value not only in the context of generally reflected themes and anniversaries. The dramaturgy of the festival is also developed taking into account foreign trends, which are an inspiration in the selection of performers and works, but also in the more general organizational level. MetalGate Czech Death Fest OpenAir is a twin-day summer metal festival, which takes place in Autocamp Brodský in the city of Červený Kostelec (Czech Republic). Dramaturgy-wise, the festival combines on one hand a cross-selection of metal styles and subgenres, which has been the hallmark of MetalGate OpenAir, and on the other hand a closer focus on death metal and grindcore, which formed the cornerstone of Czech Death Fest.

The Obscene Extreme festival, shortened as OEF, is an annual music festival in the Czech Republic, that focuses on extreme metal subgenres grindcore and death metal, as well as hardcore punk. It was found in 1999 as a birthday party by Miloslav "Čurby" Urbanec. It was described by Vice as "Europe's craziest grindcore party". It is noted by the Czech Radio for its "exceptionally tolerant and friendly atmosphere". The festival offers exclusively vegetarian and vegan food within its premises since its inception.
Several well-known metal bands have performed at OEF over the years, such as: Napalm Death, Possessed, Obituary, Sodom, Immolation, Grave, Suffocation, Vader, Incantation, Terrorizer, Exhumed, Asphyx, Morgoth, Brujeria, Sinister, Nuclear Assault, Hirax, Vital Remains, Eyehategod, Krisiun, and Municipal Waste to name a few.

Mid-sized Czech festival focused on all genres of music

Rock for People (RfP) is one of the largest open-air summer music festivals in the Czech Republic. The festival began in 1995 in the town Český Brod, and in 2007 it was moved to an unused airport in Hradec Králové. The festival features Czech and international acts of various genres, most prominently alternative rock, pop rock, punk rock, and EDM, and has also featured various workshops and recreational activities. Headlining acts have included Muse, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Arctic Monkeys, My Chemical Romance, the Offspring, the Killers, Paramore, and Massive Attack.
